Joshua Vallejos

Joshua Vallejos currently serves as the Dean (Assistant Principal) at Uplift Heights Primary Preparatory, where responsibilities include managing and coaching math and science teachers, implementing data protocols, and aligning with school performance goals. Prior experience includes teaching 3rd grade math and science at Dr. Barbara Jordan Elementary School and overseeing operations for virtual teacher training with Teach For America. Additionally, Joshua held various roles at Reading Partners, including Program Manager and Program Associate, focusing on literacy tutoring in under-resourced schools and managing team operations. Joshua began a career in education with service as a Corps Member at City Year, enhancing student attendance and performance. Joshua earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Monmouth University.
