Simon Chandler

Simon Chandler is an experienced professional in aviation quality assurance and safety with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as an ODA Unit Member at UPS Airlines since January 2013, Simon performs aging aircraft inspections on behalf of the FAA. Since March 2008, Simon has also acted as a Level IV Auditor and Vice Chairman of the Air Carrier Section at the Co Ordinating Agency For Supplier Evaluation. Prior experience includes roles such as QA Vendor Surveillance Supervisor at UPS since January 2007, and various auditing positions at Jet Blue Airways, Emery Worldwide Airlines, and Continental Airlines, among others. Simon’s background includes extensive technical expertise gained during service with the Royal Air Force as an Aircraft Technician, where significant responsibilities included supervising maintenance teams and troubleshooting complex aircraft systems.
