Amit Sarma

Amit Sarma is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and development. Currently serving as the Director of Mobile, Messaging & Collaboration at Upwork since September 2022, Amit leads a multi-year product strategy for messaging and mobile platforms. Previously, in various roles at Unity from January 2018 to September 2022, Amit oversaw commerce and payment platforms, conceptualized subscription management features, and launched Unity Live Help for game developers. Amit's earlier experience includes senior product management roles at Vidyo, Zenoti, and Tech Mahindra, along with significant engineering contributions at Samsung and Motorola. Amit holds a Master of Science in Software Management from Carnegie Mellon University, an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the Indian School of Business, and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology.
