Josh Laubach

Josh Laubach is a skilled mathematics tutor and data engineer with experience as a private math tutor since June 2015. In March 2022, Josh worked as a Contractor Machine Learning Data Engineer at a stealth mode startup, applying SVM and Logistic Regression on real-world datasets to optimize insurance payment predictions. Prior to this, Josh served as a Golden Bear Orientation Leader at the University of California, Berkeley, where over 9,000 new students were welcomed, and as the Executive Director of Operations for the Financial Literacy and Economic Justice Conference, which involved managing a team and coordinating speaker logistics. Josh has a robust background in tutoring, having guided over 100 students as a mathematics tutor at Varsity Tutors, and possesses a Postgraduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from Caltech, along with a BA in Applied Mathematics from UC Berkeley.
