Celina Barrios-Millner is an accomplished leader in equity and community engagement, currently serving as Vice President of the Office of Race and Equity Research at the Urban Institute since May 2022. Previously, Celina held various significant roles within the City of Boston from December 2014 to June 2022, including Senior Advisor to Mayor Michelle Wu and Chief of Equity and Inclusion, where Celina designed the city's first Immigrant Advancement Agenda, fostering meaningful engagement with immigrant residents. Celina's extensive experience includes consulting on civic engagement programs, leading the Student Immigrant Movement, and coordinating regional strategies for the National Immigration Forum. Academic credentials include an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School and a BA in International Relations from American University.
