Erika Sylvia, CPA, serves as the Market Controller for Houston and Dallas at Urban One, Inc. since September 2022, following a long tenure as Market Controller for Indianapolis Radio at Emmis Communications from 2002 to September 2022. During this time, Erika managed a $20 million budget, led a team of accounting and administrative professionals, and achieved zero major audit findings while delivering up to 18% annual revenue growth and 13% cost reductions. Prior to Emmis, Erika worked as a Senior Auditor at Deloitte & Touche LLP from 1998 to 2002, where significant risk assessments and solution recommendations were made across various industries.
