Jody Laverdure

Jody LaVerdure currently serves as the Executive Director of Advancement at Ursinus College, beginning in September 2024. Prior to this role, Jody held the position of Director of Development and Community Relations at Meadowood from August 2011 to September 2024, focusing on fundraising through annual appeals, planned giving, and special events, as well as managing communications and public relations. Jody's earlier positions include Grants Specialist at the National Comprehensive Cancer Network from August 2009 to August 2011, Volunteer & Development Coordinator at Saunders House from December 2005 to July 2009, and Community & Outreach Specialist with AmeriCorps for a brief period in 2005. Jody LaVerdure earned a Master’s degree in Health Communication from Boston University (2011-2012) and a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (2000-2004).
