Akanksha Gupta

Akanksha Gupta is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in management and consulting. As Co-Founder of Urvann since June 2021, Akanksha has been instrumental in establishing India's first hyperlocal marketplace for plants and gardening products, focusing on next-day delivery of fresh plants. Prior to this, Akanksha worked at Deloitte Consulting from May 2017 to May 2021 as a Senior Consultant in Strategy, providing advisory services across various industries. At EXL, from June 2014 to February 2016, Akanksha led a 5-member team in optimizing financial reporting processes for a Fortune 50 insurance company. Akanksha also held leadership roles as the Founder and President of the Corporate Interaction Cell at Shri Ram College of Commerce and completed an internship with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in India, co-authoring a research paper on corporate governance practices in Asia. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Program in Management from the Indian School of Business, a CFA credential, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce.
