Alejandro Escobar currently serves as the Associate Director of the WIFIA Program at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), focusing on technical analysis and oversight of water infrastructure investments. With extensive experience, Alejandro previously held the role of Strategic Funding Lead at Black & Veatch, where responsibility included evaluating funding sources for infrastructure projects. Alejandro's EPA career spans multiple positions, including Senior Portfolio Manager and WIFIA Portfolio Manager, where leadership involved managing portfolios and developing technical policies. Earlier roles included consulting at Booz Allen Hamilton and Tetra Tech, alongside engineering internships and memberships in diverse teams. Alejandro holds an MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and a Master's in Environmental Management from Duke University, complemented by an Engineer's Degree in Environmental Engineering.
