Benjamin DeAngelo has extensive experience in climate change science and policy, currently serving as the Deputy Director of the Climate Program Office at the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) since May 2017. Prior to this role, Benjamin worked as a Senior Analyst and Advisor for Climate Change Science & Policy at the U.S Environmental Protection Agency from October 1997 to May 2017. Additional experience includes serving as Deputy Executive Director for both the U.S. Global Change Research Program and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy in 2015-2016, as well as co-chairing the Arctic Council Task Force for Short-Lived Climate Forcers from November 2009 to May 2013. Benjamin holds a Master's degree in Geography from the University of Toronto.
