David Shive

Permanent Board Member at US Technology Modernization Fund

David Shive serves as the Chief Information Officer at the US General Services Administration since November 2012, overseeing strategic planning, budgeting, and delivery execution of the agency's IT enterprise. Additionally, David holds the position of Commissioner of the Technology Transformation Service, managing initiatives such as 18F and the Presidential Innovation Fellows program. David formerly acted as the Associate CIO for Enterprise Infrastructure and for HR & FM Systems at GSA. David also contributes to several key organizations, including serving as Vice Chair of the U.S. Federal CIO Council, an Executive Board Member of FedRAMP, and a Permanent Board Member of the Technology Modernization Fund. Prior experience includes serving as CIO for the Office of the Chief Financial Officer in Washington, DC, and holding the role of Information Management Director at ACS and Lockheed Martin.
