Katherine Wurst

Katherine Wurst is an accomplished professional in the field of sports and education, currently serving as the Associate Athletic Director at Warren Wilson College since August 2022. With extensive experience in rugby, Katherine has been a Coach Educator and Commentator for USA Rugby since 2011, leading World Rugby approved coaching courses while managing various international and domestic events. Previous roles include Head Coach for the NCAA Women's Rugby team at Queens University of Charlotte, Co-Founder and Director of Performance at First15 Sport Performance, Mental Conditioning Coach at IMG Academy, and Athletic Operations Manager at Rugby Athletic Center. Katherine's academic credentials include a Doctor of Education in Kinesiology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Master of Arts in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
