Shelly Knaffla

Shelly (Michelle) Knaffla currently serves as Transformation Manager Principal and Lead Program Manager at USAA since April 2017, overseeing the implementation of an Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management system and managing bank regulatory projects. Prior to USAA, Shelly held various roles at Northwestern Mutual from April 2013 to March 2017, including Lead Data & Analytics Consultant, where collaboration with Business Operations Leaders defined business outcome metrics, and Digital Experience Management Consultant, focusing on platform metrics and Voice of Customer efforts. Experience also includes a Vice President role at Shelter Mortgage, managing project scopes and process improvement initiatives, and positions at Guaranty Bank FSB, J. F. Ahern Co., and Mayville Metal Products, with a strong foundation in application development and systems analysis. Shelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Cardinal Stritch University and several certifications in programming and information technology.
