Antonio Contreras

Antonio Contreras is an experienced Plant Manager at USG LATAM, overseeing the Monterrey Plant since December 2020. Prior to this role, Antonio held various positions at USG from June 2001 to December 2020, including Production Engineer, Corporate Quality Manager, Plant Manager in San Luis Potosi, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt responsible for continuous improvement projects across five production plants, Engineering and Maintenance Manager overseeing four production lines, and Production Manager for gypsum board production. Additionally, Antonio worked as a Controls Engineer at Peñoles from January 2000 to February 2001, focusing on instrumentation and control projects. Antonio holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de la Laguna, completed from 1996 to 2000, and furthered education at TMAC from 2013 to 2014.
