Rob Schwartz

Rob Schwartz is the Director at Ushur. Rob has also served as the Managing Partner at Third Point Ventures and as a Member of the Board of Directors for Verbit.ai, NextSilicon, Sysdig, PrecisionHawk, Aryaka Networks, and Kentik.

Schwartz has over 20 years of experience in the communications semiconductor industry. Rob holds a multi-discipline engineering degree from the University of California at Berkeley.

During their time as Managing Partner at Third Point Ventures, Schwartz led investments in companies such as Radia Communications (acquired by Texas Instruments), LitePoint (acquired by Teradyne), Global Locate (Acquired by Broadcom), EnPhase Energy (Nasdaq : ENPH), Apigee (Nasdaq: APIC, Acquired by Alphabet/GOOG), IQ Engines (Acquired by Yahoo!), Elastica (acquired by BlueCoat), Swift Financial (Acquired by PayPal), SentinelOne (NYSE:S), CloudVelox (acquired by VMWare), Packet (acquired by Equinix), Upstart (Nasdaq:UPST), and CipherTrace (acquired by Mastercard).

Rob Schwartz attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1979 to 1984. Rob earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Multidisciplinary). During their time at UC Berkeley, they were involved in Tau Beta Pi and Pi Tau Sigma. Rob was also a Commencement Speaker.
