Chad Dowell

Chad Dowell serves as the Deputy Associate Director for Emergency Preparedness and Response at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, a role held since October 2002, with previous positions including Acting Associate Director and Industrial Hygienist within the same office. Chad also holds the rank of Captain in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service since October 2006. Earlier professional experience includes working as an Industrial Hygienist at Honda of America Mfg., Inc. from 1998 to 2000. Chad holds a Master of Science in Environmental, Safety, and Health Management from The University of Findlay and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Management, specializing in Industrial Hygiene, also from The University of Findlay.
