Diane Mitchell M.D.

Diane Mitchell MD has extensive experience in public health and clinical practice. Since July 1998, Diane has served as the Assistant Director for Science at the Center for Devices and Radiological Health within the FDA, where responsibility includes oversight of cross-center projects of public health significance. Additionally, Diane has been a Captain in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service since December 1986 and worked as an Obstetrician/Gynecologist at the Indian Health Service from July 1991 to July 1998, focusing on clinical practice and departmental supervision. Diane holds a Medical Doctor degree from the Uniformed Services University (1987) and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of California, Davis.
