Paul Wharton possesses extensive experience in materials management, procurement, and financial planning, with a strong background in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Director of Materials Management at United Surgical Partners International, Inc. since July 2013, Paul has successfully led the implementation of key materials management system modules across 280 Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Previously, at Frito-Lay, Paul held multiple positions, including National Sales Expense Manager, where Paul managed a $2.4 billion annual selling expense, and Marketing Mix Pricing Manager, focusing on optimizing $1 billion in trade spend. Additionally, Paul contributed to PepsiCo as Procurement Manager for Point-of-Sale Equipment and had a long tenure at Frito-Lay in various capacities related to procurement, supply chain management, and financial systems. Paul holds an MBA in Finance from Texas McCombs School of Business and a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Marietta College.
