Seeyuen Lee

Seeyuen Lee, MD, MPH, FACS, currently serves as Bariatric Physician Advisor at United Surgical Partners International, Inc. since November 2019 and holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) since December 2017. Additional roles include Associate Program Director for the MIS/Adv GI Fellowship, Chief Of Staff, and Chair of the Department of Surgery at Houston Northwest Medical Center, Inc., where involvement has been ongoing since 2017. Lee completed a Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship at UTHealth from 2016 to 2017. The medical education journey includes a General Surgery residency at LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans, and prior positions include research and internship roles focusing on health policy and asthma prevention. Educational background includes an MD from Tulane University School of Medicine, an MPH from Boston University, and an AB in Political Science from Wellesley College.
