Carola Rancati

Carola Rancati is a Project Assistant at the University of the Western Cape since September 2024, where responsibilities include conducting field research and organizing inclusive activities to support vulnerable communities. Prior experience includes roles as a Terrorism Threat Assessment Consultant at CT Protect Limited and as a Terrorism and Violent Extremism Consultant at Trust Lab, where Carola specialized in assessing terrorism threats and analyzing extremist content. Additional experiences include serving as a Student Ambassador at the University of Surrey and working in various customer service roles. Carola holds a Master's degree in Countering Organised Crime and Terrorism from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from the University of Surrey, complemented by coursework in Python programming and a high school diploma.
