Silke Raats is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Study Coordinator for Clinical Studies at UZA since February 2020, contributing to the Multidisciplinary Oncology Center Antwerp (MOCA). Prior experience includes roles as a Patent Information Analyst in Intellectual Property at Agfa and as a trainee in both a Specific Teacher Training program and Pharmaceutical and Biological Laboratory Technology at the University of Antwerp. Silke has a solid foundation in laboratory technology, having earned a Professional Bachelor’s in Pharmaceutical and Biological Laboratory Technology and a Bachelor’s in Chemistry from Karel de Grote-Hogeschool. Early academic achievements include winning an annual award from the Royal Flemish Chemical Society for a thesis on chromatographic applications. Silke's educational background is complemented by a pedagogical qualification from Het Perspectief PCVO.
