Carolina Rios

Carolina Rios, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Virtual Assets at KARM Legal Consultants since July 2024. Previously, Carolina held the role of Head of Legal at a confidential organization from September 2023 to April 2024 and was the Head of Legal and Government Relations at Krust Universe between August 2022 and October 2023. Notable positions also include Director of Global Partnerships at Klaytn Foundation from November 2021 to November 2022, and Business Development Manager at VegaX Holdings earlier in 2021. Carolina's experience includes a Project Management Internship at Shin & Kim, and serving as a Doctoral Researcher at Korea University’s International Trade Law Center from March 2015 to August 2020. Additionally, an External Consultant position at HUDENS BIO CO LTD. and a Legal Intern role at Bitcoin Center Korea were part of Carolina's professional journey. Prior legal advisory experience includes a role at the Presidential Office of Colombia from 2006 to 2011. Carolina holds a Doctor in Law with a focus on International Law and Legal Studies from Korea University.
