Ilja Arefjevs

Ilja Arefjevs is the CEO and Co-founder at VAIRO AS, where Ilja is on the journey to build a specialized wealth manager. Ilja is also a Founding Partner with expertise in business idea origination, fundraising, and kick-off. In addition, Ilja serves as a Study Programme Council Member and Assistant Professor in Economics and Finance at BA School of Business and Finance. Previously, Ilja held leadership positions at IPAS INDEXO, Luminor Latvija, Nordea Asset Management, Nordea, Swedbank Latvija, and ZetCOM SIA. Ilja has a PhD in Business Administration and Management, a Master's degree in International Finance, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics.
