Erick Santos

Erick Santos has extensive experience in safety engineering, having worked at Vale since August 2012, currently holding the position of Senior Safety Engineer. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with legal and technical requirements, coordinating safety activities, conducting inspections and audits, and managing the corporate safety department's processes. Prior to this, Erick held various roles in safety management within the mining sector, including Supervisor of SSO at Concremat Engenharia e Tecnologia and multiple technical positions in workplace safety. Erick holds multiple advanced degrees, including postgraduate qualifications in Engineering Maintenance, Mining Engineering, and Safety Engineering, as well as an undergraduate degree in Environmental Engineering and a technical qualification in Safety at Work.
