Stephen Potter

Stephen Potter is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the mining and technology sectors. Currently serving as the CEO, Chairman of the Board, and Board Member at Tecnored Desenvolvimento Tecnológico S.A. since December 2011, Potter's leadership extends to Vale, where roles include Senior Advisor for Decarbonization and Global Director of Strategy, among others. Previous positions include Vice President of Planning & Studies at Minera Escondida Limitada and Vice President of Operations and Development at Rio Tinto Brasil. Potter has also held management roles at Hamersley Iron, Rio Tinto Coal Australia, Argyle Diamonds, and began a career with Rio Tinto as a graduate consultant in the UK. Educational credentials include a degree from Imperial College London.
