Geoffrey Daryn Mitchell

Geoffrey Daryn Mitchell is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and project management. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Valence since March 2017, Geoffrey leads the creation of collaborative tools utilized by diverse teams, including Fortune 500 executives and startups. As the founder and software consultant at Peregrine Software, Geoffrey specializes in delivering software solutions. Previous roles include Senior Programmer/Analyst at Gulf Solution Group and Senior Software Engineer & Project Manager at Diligent ACL Analytics, where Geoffrey transitioned from C++/C# to web development. Geoffrey's experience also encompasses intermediate software engineering positions at McKesson Enterprise Medical Imaging and Faronics Corporation, where Geoffrey was involved in agile processes and security-related product development. Geoffrey holds a BSc. (Honours) in Computing & Information Science from Queen's University and an MSc. in Computing Science from Simon Fraser University.
