Dean Atkinson

Dean Atkinson is an advisor at Valence Security and a customer advisory board member at Skybox Security. Dean was previously the director of IT security at Burberry and the global head of cyber security operations at Thomas Cook. Atkinson is responsible for designing, implementing and leading a 24x7x365 hybrid security operations capability spanning monitoring, threat hunting, security incident response and vulnerability management. Dean also wrote the £4m Cyber Security Business Case and led on conducting a bottom up assessment including; identifying and quantifying business benefits, project outcomes, dependencies, risks, resource requirements, prioritisation and sequencing.
