Frank Kim

Frank Kim is currently an advisor at Valence Security. Frank has held previous positions at Revelstoke Security, SeeMetrics, Arnica, ByteChek, Valence Security, YL Ventures, Accurics, and SANS Institute. Frank has also been an investor and advisor for Blue Lava, Inc., DeepFactor, Layered Insight, and Verodin. Frank is the founder and CISO of ThinkSec and was the Executive Director of Cyber Security at Kaiser Permanente from 2008 to 2015.

Frank Kim attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied Ethnic Studies. Frank also attended the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, where they studied Business Administration. Frank has certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in AWS Certified Security – Specialty and from Microsoft in Azure Security Engineer Associate.
