Abigail Cooksey-Williams

Abigail Cooksey-Williams is a seasoned transportation management professional with a diverse background in alternative transportation promotion and program management. Currently serving as the Manager of Transportation Demand Management at Valley Metro RPTA since August 2019, Abigail is responsible for enhancing the use of alternative transportation and ensuring compliance with federal funding processes. Prior to this role, Abigail played a key role at Maricopa County as a Change Management Lead, overseeing organizational change initiatives and the successful implementation of a major system project. With over 22 years of experience at the State of Arizona, including roles as Program Manager and Executive Consultant in marketing, Abigail has demonstrated expertise in communication strategies, program design, and public relations. Additionally, Abigail served as Region 3 Director for the Association of Commuter Transportation, showcasing leadership in regional transportation initiatives. Abigail holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communications from Arizona State University.
