Michel Piette

Michel Piette has over three decades of experience in the research and metallurgy sectors. Since October 2002, Michel Piette has served as Directeur scientifique at Vallourec, responsible for leading the development of competencies within 11 key areas of the Research Center and managing a portfolio of exploratory research. Prior to this role, Michel Piette was the Head of the Metallurgy Department at ArcelorMittal from October 1991 to September 2002. Michel Piette holds a PhD in Physics from the Université de Namur, obtained between 1984 and 1990.
