Georgina Merhom

Georgina Merhom is an accomplished entrepreneur and finance professional with extensive experience in the fintech sector. As the Founder of SOLO since June 2022, Georgina is innovating customer data collection and activation for banks and lenders. Additionally, Georgina serves as a Board Member for Valu, the Middle East's first and largest Buy-Now, Pay-Later platform, which has rapidly expanded its consumer finance services market presence. Previous ventures include founding Zivmi, now operated by the National Bank of Egypt, and working as an Investigative Data Analyst at both Flashpoint and Bellingcat. Georgina's background also includes policy advisement at the 2019 G7 Summit and a leadership role in the G20 Research Group. Georgina holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Economics from the University of Toronto.
