Thamar van Esch

Thamar van Esch is a data specialist at ValueCare BV since January 2020, with previous experience as a researcher at NIVEL focusing on healthcare systems and management from May 2015 to January 2020. Thamar has also served as a research consultant at Achmea, where data interpretation from approximately 4 million insured individuals was transformed into actionable insights, along with involvement in significant projects related to health monitoring and pharmaceutical spending benchmarks. Prior roles include researcher and consultant at Significant, and a researcher at AMC, specializing in clinical and experimental audiology, as well as holding a medical physics residency. Earlier experience includes a position as a junior researcher at Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre, where Thamar conducted research on directional hearing for patients with bone-anchored hearing aids. Education includes a Master of Science in Physics from Radboud University and participation in a ZONMW workshop on grant applications.
