Boyang Zhu is an accomplished artist with extensive experience in the video game industry. Currently serving as an artist at Valve Corporation since November 2014, contributions include hero visual development and production for Dota 2, as well as work on an unannounced title. Prior experience includes a role as a cinematic artist at Blizzard Entertainment from August 2013 to October 2014, where significant projects included character design for World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor, co-character modeling lead for StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void, and work on Overwatch. Boyang Zhu also served as a character artist at ArenaNet LLC from March 2011 to July 2013, focusing on the design and construction of 3D characters for Guild Wars 2. Early career experience includes a position as a 3D artist at Soho VFX, contributing to Final Destination 5. Boyang Zhu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia and Web Design from Sheridan College and the China Academy of Art.
