Sacha Bakx

Sacha Bakx is a professional with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Biology from HAS Green Academy and education from Avans University of Applied Sciences. Currently, Sacha serves as a Junior Researcher in greenhouse horticulture at Van Iperen, focusing on practical research addressing challenges in the sector since April 2019. Previous positions include a practical researcher at PlantResearch BV, involvement in a graduation project at LTO Glaskracht Nederland studying early detection of tomato gall mite, and research on improved phosphorus uptake through biostimulants at Horticoop B.V. Internships included monitoring pest populations at Proefcentrum Hoogstraten and studying interactions between Arabidopsis and thrips at Utrecht University.
