Funaki Asisi

Funaki Asisi currently serves as the General Manager for Southern Utah University at Van Wagner since October 2024 and hosts a podcast aimed at educating high school student-athletes about collegiate athletics through The Recruit Grind. With a background in recruitment and operations, Funaki Asisi held various leadership roles, including Director of Professional Recruitment at Pure Energy Official and Director of Operations & Sales at Varsity Sports TV. Experience in collegiate athletics includes positions at the University of Oregon and Oregon State University, focusing on student-athlete development, recruiting, and operational support in football programs. Funaki Asisi holds a Master of Education in Physical and Sport Education and a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Promotion from Utah State University.
