Duane Benatar

Duane Benatar is a technology and business operations leader with extensive experience in various sectors including aviation, power grids, and software services. Currently serving as the Director of Corporate Systems and Business Intelligence at Vancouver Airport Authority since October 2021, Duane previously held senior roles at Hitachi ABB Power Grids as Senior Director of Global Product Development Operations and at ABB as Senior Director of Research and Development. Prior to this, leadership roles at Boeing Vancouver included Director of Technology Strategy and Chief Technology Architect. Duane's career began at IBM Global Business Services, where responsibilities included senior-level consulting and enterprise architecture across multiple industries. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science from the University of the Witwatersrand and further studies at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
