Mehak Malhotra is a dedicated Research Assistant at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, specifically in the Regulating Emotions and Stress in Teens (REST) Lab, where involvement includes leading discussions on adolescent mental health research. Additionally, Mehak contributes to Project EnCORE, focusing on resources for LGBTQ+ youth and families, conducting thematic analyses, and utilizing qualitative analysis software. Mehak also serves as Public Relations Chair for Agni Vanderbilt and Autism Tennessee, promoting cultural diversity and awareness about autism. Further roles include mentoring first-year students as a VUceptor, developing syllabi for neurodiverse students, and founding the Vanderbilt Photo Society. Alongside various photography positions, Mehak has gained experience in counseling as an intern. Mehak is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human and Organizational Development at Vanderbilt University.
