Peter Poggi

Peter Poggi is an undergraduate research assistant currently engaged at Maier Lab, focusing on the integrated information theory of consciousness, a mathematical framework for understanding consciousness. Additionally, Peter is involved with the SyBBURE Searle Undergraduate Research Program and has previously worked at the Brain Development Lab. Prior to this academic experience, Peter served as a sailing instructor at the Privateer Yacht Club, where responsibilities included managing a team and teaching sailing techniques. Peter Poggi is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Philosophy at Vanderbilt University from 2021 to 2025.
