Silva Kuschke

Silva Kuschke (PhD) is a seasoned professional in the field of audiology with extensive experience in clinical education and leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Research Audiologist at hearX Group since February 2023, Silva previously held the position of Head of Department and Chief Audiologist at Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital from April 2016 to February 2023. At the University of Cape Town, Silva contributed as a Clinical Educator in various specialized clinics from March 2013 to February 2023. Earlier roles include serving as a speech-language therapist and audiologist for the Mpumalanga Department of Health. Silva holds a PhD in Audiology from the University of Pretoria, alongside a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Pathology. Additional qualifications include a 200-hour Yoga Teacher certification and specialized training in Cochlear Implant MAPping.
