Karl Hammes

Karl Hammes is an accomplished IT leader currently serving as Director of Information Technology at Vanderlande since 2022. Prior experience includes directorship roles at Reliance Worldwide Corporation and Bekaert, overseeing IT operations and spearheading digital transformation initiatives across the Americas. With a background in logistics and freight at Lufthansa Cargo AG, Karl successfully managed e-Freight implementations and large-scale system upgrades. Early career experiences include management trainee and internship roles at Lufthansa, along with leadership of a student-run company during studies. Karl holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Cologne.
