Roy Oz

Roy Oz is an Agronomist at Vanilla Vida, a rapidly growing Ag & FoodTech company specializing in high-quality vanilla production through innovative growing and curing methods since December 2021. Prior to this role, Roy participated in the FirstShift program as a Fellow, focusing on entrepreneurship from September to December 2022. Experience includes an internship at CultivAid, where responsibilities involved establishing a new R&D field and installing a drip irrigation system from August 2020 to March 2021. Roy also served as a civilian employee in the Israel Defense Forces, conducting geological analysis and aerial photo analysis for special forces from January 2019 to December 2020, and as a military officer in Israeli Military Intelligence from January 2012 to December 2015. Roy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Plant Sciences and Biotechnology from Tel-Hai College, completed in August 2021.
