Jonathan Kolstad

Jonathan Kolstad serves as a Professor at UC Berkeley since July 2015, alongside roles as Vice Chairman and Founder at Healthpilot Technologies and Advisor at Vanna Health since 2022. Kolstad co-founded Picwell and served as Chief Data Scientist until December 2022 and was an Advisor at OODA Health from 2017 to 2021. Previous academic positions include Assistant Professor at The Wharton School and Doctoral Student at Harvard University. Kolstad holds a PhD in Health Policy/Economics from Harvard and a BA in Economics from Stanford. Research interests focus on health quality delivery, competition in the hospital sector, and technology adoption.
