Alessandro Torresani

Alessandro Torresani is currently employed as a Computer Vision Engineer specializing in SLAM at Varjo since June 2022. Prior to this role, Alessandro served as a PhD Candidate and Software Developer at Fondazione Bruno Kessler from March 2018 to December 2022. Alessandro holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Information and Communication Technology from Università di Trento, awarded in December 2022. Additionally, Alessandro participated in the Innsbruck Summer School of Alpine Research focusing on Close Range Sensing Techniques in Alpine Terrain in June 2019 and earned a Laurea Magistrale in Computer Science from Università di Trento from 2014 to 2016.
