Yanying Chen

Yanying Chen is a Principal Scientist at Jumio Corporation since January 2022 and a Co-Founder of Cytopar LLC, contributing to the human organ transplantation community. Yanying has extensive experience as a Senior Scientist at FICO from November 2015 to January 2022, where responsibilities included fostering cross-functional collaboration for new product development and conducting Proof of Concept projects. Previous roles include Lead Scientist and Analytic Scientist II at FICO, focusing on analytics development and real-time fraud detection models. Yanying's academic background includes a Ph.D. and a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Tianjin University. Additionally, Yanying gained early experience by designing a pollution detection IoT system during the Microsoft Imagine Cup 2008 and served as a Certified Peer Counselor at Tianjin University.
