Alon Firestein

Alon Firestein is a software engineer currently employed at Varonis since July 2023, working on the DatAdvantage Cloud solution, which enhances monitoring and management of cloud platform behaviors. Prior experience includes roles as a software developer at IBM from November 2021 to July 2023, contributing to the IBM OpenShift Data Foundation and developing data protection solutions for IBM Spectrum Protect Plus. Alon has also interned as a software developer at Autohost, focusing on guest-screening automation for the hospitality industry, and served as an army commander in the Israel Defense Forces from March 2015 to March 2018. Alon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ariel University, attained in 2023.
