Sagi Grimberg

Sagi Grimberg is a distinguished technology leader with extensive experience in software architecture and development, currently serving as VP of Architecture at VAST Data since March 2024. Previously, Sagi co-founded Lightbits Labs in March 2016, acting as CTO and Chief SW Architect while contributing to the Linux kernel. From March 2010 to March 2016, Sagi held various roles at Mellanox Technologies, including Storage SW Manager and SW Team Lead focusing on storage and RDMA technologies. With a strong background in networking and storage development, key activities have included contributions to iSER, iSCSI, SRP, FCoE, and Linux kernel/user development. Sagi Grimberg earned a B.Sc in Computer Engineering from Bar-Ilan University between 2008 and 2012.
