Matthew Degges

Matthew Degges has extensive experience in the aerospace sector, currently serving as Director of Propulsion at VAST since January 2022, with prior roles as Sr. Manager and Sr. Test Engineer within the same company. Previously, Matthew held the position of Director of Propulsion Test at Frontier Aerospace Corporation and worked as a Propulsion Test Engineer at The Aerospace Corporation. Additional experience includes mechanical engineer roles at Arrivo and as Sr. Mechanical Engineer at an undisclosed company, along with a tenure as a Dragon Prop Build Engineer at SpaceX. Matthew began their career as a Rocket Test Engineer at Aerojet Rocketdyne and also shared knowledge as a Mech Eng Adjunct Instructor at Alfred University. Matthew holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, earned between 2008 and 2010.
