Sean Evans

Sean Evans is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in venture investments and business development within the biotech sector. Currently serving as a VC Mentor at VC University since August 2022, Evans previously held the position of Senior Associate in Venture Investments at Johnson & Johnson from September 2020 to December 2024, focusing on equity investments in biotech companies and engaging with the innovation ecosystem. Additional leadership roles include being a Board Observer for multiple biotech firms and serving on the Board of Directors at Accent Therapeutics, Inc. Before these positions, Evans directed business development and corporate partnerships at The Johns Hopkins University. Educational credentials include a PhD in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology, an M.S. in Biotechnology, and a B.A. in Biology from prestigious institutions.
