Jamal Ramahi has extensive experience in engineering and technology leadership roles. Jamal started their career as an Engineering Director at Unisys Corporation, where they managed a team of professionals and improved product development cycle time. Jamal then served as a Senior Engineering Manager at National Semiconductor before moving on to roles such as Director of Product Development at Brocade Communications and Director of Engineering at NVIDIA. Jamal later joined EMC as the Senior Engineering Manager and then served as the Senior Director of Platform Engineering at Violin Memory. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Engineering at Panasas, where they are responsible for defining systems roadmaps, platform design and development, and resolving manufacturing issues.
Jamal Ramahi attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2008 to 2009, where they completed an Executive Leadership Program. Prior to that, they earned an MBA in International Business from National University, graduating in 2008. Jamal'sundergraduate studies were at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from 1980 to 1984.
