Robin Eelsing

Robin Eelsing is a PhD candidate in Traumasurgery at Amsterdam UMC, focusing on calcaneal fractures and the prevention of infections following lower-limb surgery since November 2021. In addition, Robin serves as a prospective firefighter with Veiligheidsregio Gelderland-Zuid and as a Junior Triagist at Spoedpost Tiel. Previous roles include working as a temporary medical assistant at HuisartsenHulp and a trauma registration employee at SpoedZorgNet, alongside positions as a vaccination tester and vaccinator for GGD Gelderland-Zuid during the COVID-19 response. Robin holds a Bachelor's degree in Medicine from the University of Amsterdam and completed a Junior Internship in Surgery at the same institution in 2019. Education was also completed at Lek en Linge Culemborg from 2011 to 2017.
